The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it's alarmed regarding the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This sassa status is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company level made for intervention experiences a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
